What will your part be?
For almost 900 years, people have given their time, their skills, their prayers and their generosity so that All Saints’ Church, Helmsley can continue to serve its community.
Now the story continues.
All Saints’ is much more than an historic building. It is a living church: a place of worship and prayer, welcome and friendship, music and learning, heritage and community. We want it to continue to flourish for generations to come.
There are many ways to be part of that. You do not have to be a regular churchgoer, and you do not have to make a huge commitment. Whether you can give an occasional hour, share a particular skill, help at an event, pray for our work, or support us financially, there is a place for everyone.
Give your time
All Saints’ depends on a wonderful team of people who give their time in all sorts of ways.
You might enjoy welcoming visitors, helping with refreshments, flowers or events, supporting our work with children and families, singing or making music, helping to care for the church and churchyard, lending practical or professional skills, or simply being an extra pair of hands when they are needed.
Some roles are regular, others might be just once or twice a year. Whatever time you have to offer, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Every gift, large or small, helps us continue our worship and ministry, welcome visitors, serve our community and care for this remarkable building.
Give regularly
Regular giving helps us plan confidently for the ongoing life of the church. The Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) is a simple way to give monthly, quarterly or annually by Direct Debit. It can collect Gift Aid automatically, and you can choose to increase your gift each year in line with inflation.

Give your skills
Sometimes what we need is not money but knowledge, experience or a particular pair of hands.
Perhaps you have skills in gardening, building maintenance, fundraising, administration, photography, design, IT, hospitality, heritage, education or something we haven't thought of yet. If you have a skill you would be willing to share, occasionally or regularly, please get in touch.
Pray with us
Prayer is at the heart of the life of All Saints’. You can support the church by praying for its worship and ministry, for our community, for those who come through our doors, and for the future of this church.
You are also very welcome to join us for worship or simply come into church during the week to sit, pray or light a candle. All Saints’ is open every day.
