Choral Evensong

Choral Evensong is a beautiful evening service held at 6pm on the first Sunday of the month.  It is a traditional language Book of Common Prayer Evensong and provides the opportunity to hear the Helmsley Chamber Choir and our Harrison and Harrison pipe organ.  In addition to the introit, responses, psalm, canticles and anthem sung by the choir, there are four congregational hymns and a concluding organ voluntary.

Sunday Eucharist

The Sung Eucharist with music is held at 9:30am every Sunday.

The Organ

The present pipe organ was rebuilt by Harrison and Harrison in 1931 with an oak case by Leslie Moore.  This rebuild incorporated the majority of the original pipework from the earlier Walker Organ dating back to 1868.

The organ can be heard each week at the 9:30am Sunday Eucharist and also at Choral Evensong on the first Sunday of the month at 6pm.
