The parish of Upper Ryedale consists of four little churches in the North York Moors and the Priest in Charge of Helmsley is also responsible for our sister parish. There is a house for duty post which has the day to day care for the churches and communities but this is currently in vacancy.

Sunday worship rotates around the four churches and joins with All Saints' Helmsley on the fifth Sunday of a month. The parish, as a whole, is farming country, bordered by forestry and moorland. It has two pubs, one restaurant, one shop, a number of bed and breakfast establishments, and some of the most beautiful countryside in England.
During the vacancy the Sunday service at 10am is a mixture of Morning Prayer and Holy Communion with the generous support of churchwardens, retired and associate clergy.
